The following is a list of organizations that provide community transportation services to seniors and those with chronic disabilities.
Catholic Charities of Livingston County: The volunteer drivers of the Faith in Action Program can transport eligible residents to medical appointments or to pick up prescriptions. For more info. (or to volunteer), please call 658-4466 ext. 818.
Livingston Area Transportation Service (LATS): Can take you anywhere in Livingston County. For wheelchair accommodation call 335-3344. Please give 24 hour advance notice and call for routes, times and fares.

Visit the Livingston County Office of the Aging to find programs and services that improve the quality of life for our area senior citizens, by assisting them in remaining independent, and living at home as long as it is safely possible. The Livingston County Office for the Aging offers programs and services to individuals ages 60 and over in the county.

Alzheimer's Association Caregiver Support Groups
A Caregiver Support Group for family members, friends, and caregivers of individuals who are affected by Alzheimer's disease or related dementia. the group will meet the 3rd Wednesday of each month from 7 to 8:30 pm at the Zion Episcopal Church, 10 Park Place, Avon.
