Linda Simmons - Director of Nursing
Linda is a registered nurse with more than 30 years of experience in patient care, treatment, evaluation and follow-up with patients from pediatrics to geriatrics. She was raised in Geneseo and now lives in Honeoye Falls, NY with her husband Tom. She has 4 wonderful children and 10 grandchildren. In her free-time she enjoys gardening, reading, but mostly spending time with her family. Linda feels honored and blessed to be a part of this wonderful Teresa House family. She joined Teresa House in December 2014 after retiring from the Livingston County Health Department.
Leah Fletcher - Director of the House
Leah was hired as a part-time administrator in February of 2005. Before joining Teresa House, Leah received her PhD in Pathology in 1993 and worked as a vaccine research scientist for 10 years. Teresa House holds a special place in Leah’s heart and she feels blessed to be a part of their caring and dedicated staff. She lives in Geneseo, NY with her husband, Kurt. They have 2 wonderful sons and a couple of cats. As an amateur photographer, she can frequently be seen taking pictures for the Geneseo Central School Drama Club and the Geneseo Community Players. She joined Teresa House in October 2004 as a clerical volunteer.
Denise Bentley - Outreach Director
Denise worked for the Livingston County Department of Social Services for 34 years. Community outreach and working to make a difference have been a large part of her life. She has a special place in her heart for hospice care. Denise comes to Teresa House with community outreach experience through Health Fairs, Help Fairs and Caregiver Support Celebrations. She has provided oversight of volunteers as a transportation broker for the county. Denise resides in Mt. Morris, NY with her husband, Jon. She has 3 wonderful children and 2 granddaughters filling her life with joy. She joined Teresa House in November of 2015.
Peter Brandt - Volunteer Coordinator
Peter is a Registered Nurse with a certificate in Gerontology. He has spent his entire nursing career working primarily with older persons. He grew up on a farm near the Plum Creek of Little House on the Prairie fame and still enjoys gardening. He is also an Orthodox Christian Deacon with an advanced degree in theology and is a Benedictine Oblate specializing in Gregorian chant. He lives in Mt. Morris, NY with his wife of thirty-three years and nine cats. Peter first joined Teresa House as a nurse in 2013 and has been our Volunteer Coordinator since 2014.
